How to handle a booking modification directly in my Holidu App?
At Holidu, we're dedicated to enhancing guest satisfaction while empowering our hosts. The Booking Modification feature helps you to manage guest booking modifications effortlessly. This streamlined process makes hosting easier and more efficient, while ensuring guests receive faster responses—so they can look forward to their stay with confidence.
Previously, booking modification requests from guests through Airbnb or Booking.com required some intermediary steps. Now, these requests will be managed directly in your Holidu account, providing you with more control and efficiency over your bookings.

Guest requests for booking changes come directly to you. You can approve, decline, or suggest modifications based on your availability and preferences.

How does this process work?
- You’ll receive notifications via email and the Holidu App whenever there’s a booking modification request.*
- Requests will also be visible on your home page and booking overview in your Holidu account and in the Holidu App.
- You’ll see key details such as:
- Duration changes
- Guest count adjustments
- Date modifications
- Updated earnings based on the modification
- After reviewing the request, you can simply accept or reject the request with one click.
- The guest will be notified of your decision, and updated booking details will be shared automatically.

*Please note: To receive notifications from the Holidu App, ensure that push notifications are enabled.
In the case that you want to accept a modification with a different price please, reach out to Holidu’s Customer Support team, so your request can be handled.
Where Does This Apply?
This feature is available for Airbnb and Booking.com first, as we believe this will have the biggest impact on reducing the manual work for you related to these bookings. Please note that initially, some requests may still follow the old process through our customer support team as we implement the new feature gradually.
