This park is located between the towns of Cambrils and Montbrio de Tarragona, a few kilometres from the coast. It was designed in 1881 by Josep Fontserre, the same who created the park of the Citadel of Barcelona. The idea was to recover the exotic and characteristic atmosphere of colonial Cuba, since the promoter's family had resided there for several years.
