The beautiful city of Tarragona is full of history and remains of its Roman past. Here, you can visit the impressive archaeological site of Tarraco, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lots of ancient buildings such as the Roman Amphitheatre facing the Mediterranian, the Necropolis where Roman tombs are, and a few traces of the old Forum in the walled, medieval Old Town. Take a pleasant stroll along the walkway of the ramparts, the Passeig Arqueològic and enjoy the beautiful views of the city.

Tarragona is well known for its gastronomy and so is Salou. The fresh fish and the fabulous seafood fill in the menus of most restaurants in the city. Starting in Cambrils, there is a boat that goes to Salou with a glass bottom so you can see what is happening under your feet. On clear days and calm waters, you will spot plenty of different fish. This is an activity the little ones will love.

The city enjoys a great network of cyclepaths to enjoy pleasant rides around the city. Getting on a bike is the easiest way to visit the city while having fun and being active.
