De Koog is the "place to be" on the beautiful island of Texel. Only the dunes separate the village from the wide sandy beach and the sea. There are many shops in the cosy centre and plenty of opportunities for a drink or a snack on one of the many terraces.

At the forest, on the north side of the cosy seaside resort of De Koog, lies the small-scale complex Het Strandhuys. The spacious detached holiday home Oester has a living room with modern seating and dining area. The colourful open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven and microwave. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with single box-spring beds. The bathroom on the ground floor has a bathtub and toilet. Both bedrooms on the first floor also have single box-spring beds. The 2nd bathroom is also upstairs and has a shower and toilet. Holiday home Oester has a sunny south-facing terrace and a lovely enclosed garden of 80m2. You can also use a washing machine and dryer, these are for shared use.
