About the surrounding area
Fraueninsel belongs to the municipality of Chiemsee, the smallest municipality in Bavaria, alongside Herreninsel with the famous royal castle of King Ludwig II and the uninhabited Krautinsel. In addition to the 50 or so houses of the islanders, there are various restaurants, fisheries and beer gardens in a unique setting, which are known for their hospitality. The Benedictine monastery offers a variety of courses and seminars. Of historical interest are the cathedral and the 1000-year-old Torhalle, which hosts temporary art exhibitions.

Please note that the Inselglück holiday flat is located on a car-free island in Lake Chiemsee and can only be reached by boat. The car can be left in Gstadt for a fee. Cancellation conditions: Cancellation free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the holiday, up to 7 days before the start of the holiday half of the amount is payable, thereafter the full amount. The prices quoted do not include the tourist tax of: Persons aged 16 and over = EUR 2. Severely disabled persons with 80 to GdB 99% from 16 years = 1 EUR. Children and young people aged 7 to 15 inclusive = EUR 1. Severely disabled children and young people with 80 to GdB 99%; 7 up to and including 15 years = 0.50 EUR. Children up to and including 6 years of age | severely disabled persons with GdB 100% and their accompanying persons | business travellers = 0 EUR

Journey description
Car: The best boat connection is from Gstadt, where there are also many parking facilities (not included in the price). ; Train: Take the train to Prien, then take a taxi or the Chiemseebahn from the station to the landing stage in Prien Stock and take the boat to Fraueninsel in approx. 30 minutes. Aeroplane: The nearest airport is in Salzburg and is about 65 km away, the airport in Munich is 120 km away. Travelling from the airport is possible by train to Prien.

Description of the unit
Immerse yourself, feel good and be happy....enjoy the Inselglück flat with all your senses: The warmth of the fire, the bright sunlight and the proximity of the water: "What happiness!"
The Inselglück holiday flat consists of a large, bright living room with a cosy tiled stove and a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. The flat has a covered flower terrace with access to the garden. There is a seating area by the lake for a romantic dinner or a glass of wine.

Kitchen: dishwasher, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, espresso maker, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, well-stocked crockery and glasses.

Swimming at the lake: The house has a private beach with sun loungers and lake access with bathing ladder - only 50 metres from the house.
