It's like being on holiday when we enter Casetta sulla Scogliera in San Marco di Agropoli for the first time on a sunny September day.
The shimmering deep blue sea and the azure sky form an impressive contrast on the horizon. Prickly pear cacti and a multitude of brightly coloured flowers around the white-painted house complement this late summer colour composition. The sound of the gentle waves below the large sea-view terrace is interrupted more than once by the infectious laughter of the owner of the house. There is no choice but to feel completely at ease.

NARROW, CLEAN HOLIDAY HOUSE
The Casetta sulla Scogliera is ideal for 2 to 4 people and offers everything you need for a family holiday on the Cilento coast.
You enter the holiday home via the light-flooded living/dining room, from which you have access to the large, partially covered terrace. From the dining table, you have a direct view of the well-preserved coastal watchtower approx. 100 metres away, which is a reminder of the eventful history of Agropolis between a small Roman town and Byzantine rule.

You can also enjoy the view over the deep blue sea while cooking in the well-equipped kitchen area. The adjoining hallway leads to the 2 adjoining bedrooms (double bed; 2 single beds) and the bathroom.
The house has air conditioning (for a fee) and free WiFi.
The private park in which the Casetta is located is completely fenced, parking is available directly at the house.

The sea at your feet
At Casetta sulla Scogliera you are surrounded by the sea. The approx. 70 square metre terrace, surrounded by a small stone wall, ends directly above the Tyrrhenian Sea. There is plenty of space for sunbathing and enjoying the panorama. The Amalfi Coast is also within sight.

Passing the neighbouring houses, you reach a small gate after approx. 100 m. Behind wild agaves, the view opens up to the fine sandy beaches to the north of Agropolis. A short flight of steps leads down to the sea and the sandy bay, which is easily accessible via a stone path. Behind it is a longer stretch of beach, which is partly serviced in the summer months.

AGROPOLI FIXED IN VIEW
The old town centre of Agropoli, which is around 3 km from the Casetta sulla Scogliera, is perched on a rocky plateau. There are numerous bars, restaurants and pizzerias on the way to the centre. A supermarket is approx. 1 km away.

Culture lovers will also love the lively Agropoli. The Palazzo Civico delle Arti regularly opens its doors for art exhibitions. In summer, the grounds of the medieval castle are a popular setting for theatre performances, concerts and medieval markets.

On the horizon, the azure blue of the sky rises above the deep blue of the sea. Prickly pear cacti and a variety of colourful flowers growing around the white house round off this composition of late-summer colours. The sound of the waves moving gently below the large sea view terrace is more than once interrupted by the owner's infectious laughter. You cannot but feel completely at ease.

Upon entering, you find yourself in the light flooded kitchen-dining-living room, which opens onto the large, partly roofed terrace.
From the dining area with well-appointed kitchen unit (incl. incl. gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, toaster, electric kettle) you can look out towards the well-preserved coastal watch tower approx. 100 m off, a reminder of Agropoli's eventful past between Roman town and Byzantine rule.

From the living area with sofa and TV a door opens into a hallway. It takes you to the 2 bedrooms (double bed; twin beds), which are located next to each other, as well as to the bathroom (shower/WC/bidet; hair dryer, washing machine).
The holiday home features air conditioning (extra charge) and free WiFi. The private park it is located in is completely fenced, parking is available at the house.

THE SEA AT YOUR FEET
At Casetta sulla Scogliera, you are 'surrounded' by the sea. The approx. 70 m² terrace is enclosed by a small stone wall, 'ends' right above the Tyrrhenian Sea and offers a lot of space for relaxing in the shade, sunbathing and enjoying the panorama. The Amalfi Coast, among others, is within eyeshot.

When you pass by the neighbouring houses and after about 100 m, you arrive at a small gate. Behind wild agaves, a view of the fine sandy beaches in the northern part of Agropoli opens up before you. A short stepped path runs down to the sea and to the sandy bay, which is easily reached by way of a stone path. The longer section of beach which follows is partly with service during the summer months.

AGROPOLI ALWAYS IN SIGHT
The Old Town of Agropoli, which sits enthroned on a promontory, is about 3 km from Casetta sulla Scogliera. On your way to the centre, you pass a large number of bars, restaurants and pizzerias. There's a supermarket about 1 km from the accommodation.
