Pure relaxation in the middle of nature: The rustic holiday home is idyllically situated on a mountain meadow, right on the edge of the forest. Two beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room offer space for a maximum of four people. The living room has a cosy corner sofa and, of course, a TV. The absolute highlight is our wood-burning stove, which creates a cosy atmosphere with its crackling fire. A well-equipped kitchen with oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. makes your holiday a pleasant one. The fire bowl in the outdoor area creates a romantic campfire atmosphere. On the terrace or on the sunbathing lawn you can enjoy the wonderful natural surroundings and marvellous peace and quiet. If you're lucky, you might even see deer grazing in the evening. The accommodation is located between the two climatic health resorts of Hauzenberg and Waldkirchen (Bavaria, Germany), in the border triangle of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Smaller hikes are possible in the vicinity of the house, for example to the Oberfrauenwald viewing tower, which offers a great panoramic view. The natural areas of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest with the surrounding villages are ideal for longer excursions. For example, you can climb the Dreisesselberg, hike in the Bavarian Forest National Park, take a boat trip on the Vltava or visit the three-river city of Passau. The nearest inn can be reached on foot in 5 to 10 minutes. In winter you live very close to the "Geiersberger Glacier", our small ski area with sledge lift, 2 ironing lifts, children's area, ski hire and inn. This is a great place to learn and practise, especially for less confident skiers. But snowboarders and tobogganists also get their money's worth here. We are also happy to welcome you to the "Geiersberger Hütte" for a hearty snack. If you are looking for more challenging pistes, you can reach the largest Austrian ski area outside the Alps, the Hochficht, in around 30 minutes. The house has a car park, which can be used free of charge. In winter, the house cannot be accessed directly if there is enough snow. Guests then park approx. 70 metres in front of the holiday home

Included are: Utilities, bed linen, towels and tea towels

Additional towels: EUR 5 per person

The tourist tax of EUR 3 per person/day is not included in the price. It must be paid additionally.

In the high season and in the Christmas-New Year season, bookings are only possible for stays of 4 nights or more.

Short-term bookings are only possible in the low season. A short-stay supplement of EUR 25 to EUR 30 per night is charged for stays of 2 or 3 nights.

A deposit of 30% of the total amount may be charged.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged up to 90% of the total amount.

Departure is possible until 10 am.

The keys are handed over by using the key box.
